Why Are You Here?

You’re here because you want something better. Because you want something to change, even if you don’t know what or how, but because something needs to change.

You’ve probably looked at every self-improvement site out there, but never found a way to make any changes last. Enough is enough, you need something that will actually help you change your life.

Who Am I?

My name is Jen and I’ve spent years feeling stuck. I wouldn’t say that I was unhappy or that my circumstances were bad, just average. I lived with the same stress that most people do.

For years I was:

  • Trying diet after diet and always failing and gaining weight back
  • Living paycheck to paycheck without saving or investing in my future
  • Starting blogs, businesses, hobbies and activities that I would quit and let fail
  • Paying off debt only to max out credit cards again
  • Working the same job without ambition or interest to grow
  • Following the same routines without results

I felt content and comfortable in my routine but knew that I wasn’t living the life I wanted and felt like I was wasting time and potential. So, I read every self-improvement blog I could find on health, fitness, personal finance, motivation, inspiration, discipline, neuro-hacking, relationships, motivational quotes, I mean everything I could find.

There had to be an answer somewhere. Someone had to have the secret to make my life better.

And they didn’t.

There was no secret to anything.

I found helpful bits of information from tons of different sources, but I didn’t know how to make a plan out of it. There was too much to weed through, too many ideas to put together, and building this amazing lifestyle didn’t feel feasible.

How Can I Help You?

I can help you because I’ve been there. My story is the same as so many people, and if you’re here I bet you know this feeling I’m talking about.

Self help information can be overwhelming and vague, and not always something we can relate to (I’m looking at you bloggers who wake up at 4am to run a marathon, take an ice shower and meditate before helicoptering to your dream job). Some of the advice I found just feels like a stretch for people that feel stuck and will put them off making any lasting changes.

I’m here to change that, and help you cut through the crap. We’ll find ways to make real and lasting changes in your life to start improving anything you want.

Motivated Minds is your guide to start making the life you want. We’ll focus on small, meaningful goals to motivate and inspire you to make these changes happen. You won’t be running a marathon or writing a best seller today and that’s OK! Meaningful change takes time and we’re going to get there together.

After years of scouring the internet for self-improvement information, I am compiling everything I’ve learned into clear, actionable advice that you can apply to your life right now.
